As a licensed contractor participating in the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program, we’re proud to partner with local organizations to implement more efficient energy alternatives. Our Community Outreach Program allows you to enjoy our $499 energy audit for the low price of $99.

The Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® (HPeWS) program is a comprehensive approach to improving efficiency, comfort, and indoor air quality in a home. Instead of just looking at one “problem” area within the house, HPwES looks at the entire home and how it works together to most effectively solve the home’s issues. The program utilizes rebates that homeowners may access to complete energy upgrades and save money.
Some individuals aren’t ready to pay $99 and enter the official program. We simply want to be your first consideration when you need assistance, since you will know us and trust us!
FOR Energy works hard to give back to deserving, local heroes in our midst through the Heal the Hero Foundation. Local firefighters, police officers, and veterans receive an individualized sponsorship so they can complete a proven 5-month brain-wellness program, using the latest in technology, to get them sleeping, working, and enjoying life again, like they used to! Our team is committed to the future sustainability of our local communities. In 2016 alone, through the collective efforts of AZ homeowners and our team, over 700,000 kilowatt hours were removed from the grid. We have much bigger plans ahead!
FOR Energy currently offers two ways to receive an energy evaluation: The $99 HPwES, unlocks utility rebates, while our own complimentary Home Energy Check-Up provides the option to unlock rebates later. Both evaluations include things like combustion-appliance-zone (CAZ) testing, blower-door testing, duct leakage testing, room pressure testing, and whole home leakage testing. Regardless of the audit you choose, you will be given an individualized roadmap to a more efficient, comfortable, and an overall healthier home. You will also find out what rebates and tax credits you may qualify for.
Waiting until you discover poor air quality or other health hazards in your home is never the best plan. You have nothing to lose and peace of mind to gain. Let us educate your family so you can increase your home value, reduce your energy bill, and make your home a haven.

Please have a copy of your utility bill ready for your Energy Pro. He or she can take a picture, if easiest. Please provide access to your attic (when applicable). We ask that you please have your bill handy so our Energy Pro can best determine what ways we can help save you money by analyzing your current plan, as well as potentially qualifying for APS/SRP rebates. When applicable, your utility bill will also aid us in providing you with helpful information about how solar would impact your home.
There are rebates for duct sealing, insulation, attic sealing, smart thermostats, cool control devices, pool pumps, air conditioners, and solar water heaters. Some of which you can only get through an approved Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® contractor. By going through our audit program, not only will you qualify for rebates but we will apply for them on your behalf!
If you’ve taken action on the priorities that were set in your original evaluation, then your home is likely performing well and an additional audit will not be necessary (though you may benefit from our solar consultation). However, if you didn’t take action, and would like a 2nd opinion, we highly encourage you to sit down with us and enjoy a pleasant experience with our helpful team.

We take the time to identify what’s important to you and if it makes more sense to lease or purchase, or whether solar is even a viable option for you. Solar doesn’t make sense for some families and we want to ensure you are fully informed so you make the right educated decision rather than regretting the decision you have made. Should you qualify for solar, there are many benefits you can take advantage of right now! There is a 30% Federal Tax Credit, a $1000 State Tax Credit, and the ability to take control of your ever increasing, never-ending electric bill! We not only make it easy to move forward with solar, we make it affordable! Our programs (doesn’t matter if you lease or own) are $0 out of pocket and allow you to start seeing savings from day 1!
Come July 1, 2017, APS solar regulations are changing drastically. The current solar charge of $0.70 per kW is increasing to $3.00 per kW (Example: Now, a 10 kW system has solar charge of $7/month. After July 1, a 10kW system has a solar charge of $30/month) Also, instead of getting full retail credit for any excess net metered electricity, payments will be set by complex calculations based on what the electricity would be worth if it came from traditional power plants and what it actually saves the utility. Also, APS is potentially looking to add a demand charge come November 2017, though this has not yet been approved. All the July 1 changes have not yet been laid out by APS but should soon be released. If you are interested in solar, and if you qualify, you need to call today to schedule a time for a complimentary consultation. If solar is right for you, we can process your interconnection application and get you grand-fathered into the current administration of rules. On that note, 20 year grandfathered periods will be going away on July 1st and new, shorter, 10 year periods will exist.
Many solar companies may tell you “no,” hang up on you, or say they have a bad connection with you. That’s because they just haven’t taken the time to understand how the SRP solar program that went into place on December 8, 2014 works. In many cases, solar DOES work for SRP customers. Did you know the price per kWh for on-peak power on the solar SRP E-27 Rate plan is only $0.043 to $0.063 per kWh compared to $0.102 to $0.359 per kWh!! We can educate you on ways this E-27 Solar Rate plan may be the right plan for you.
